Hello! My name is João Pereira and I am 25 years old. I'm currently living in Porto, Portugal. I have finished my Master's degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in the end of June, 2017. Since I was young, I always had a passion with technology and so I chose to involve this domain in my future life. Over time programming became a passion. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, Web and Mobile Development and also Computer Graphics are the areas that I'm usually involved cause these ones don't make me feel bored 😀
My favourite hobbies are playing videogames - yeah, i'm a gamer - at least I try to 😆, but I also love to see football games. Moreover, I really enjoy to go to the cinema, be with my friends and casually drink beer, so don't make excuses and let's drink someday 😎. Oh, I almost forgot, I'm a trully Anime and Manga passionate!

I am a Junior Software Developer at Semasio GmbH, a company focus on innovative semantic behavioural targeting and user profiling approach that creates a new paradigm of Data-Driven Advertising.
I was Teacher Assistant of Graphical Applications Laboratory, a third year course of the programme Master's in Informatics and Computing Engineering.
I was Teacher Assistant of Computer Graphics, a second year course of the programme Master's in Informatics and Computing Engineering.
JuniFEUP is a junior company which I joined in 2015 and learn a lot about the business world. There, I was capable of improve my technical and soft skills which can be seen as a good experience.
I joined FEUP in 2012 to become a Master in Informatics and Computing Engineering.
